Talk about being a major jack-ass! Men, if you do not want to taste the wrath of heaven, never EVER divorce a woman (no matter how much you want to muzzle her) through a text message.

Not only is it extremely rude (insert sarcasm) but all the male code of honor that was drilled into your mind since boyhood would be useless if you do this. Apparently Mr. Russel Brand wasn't listening when his father was giving him "the talk".

In the latest edition of Vogue magazine, Katy Perry was chosen as the magazine's cover story. This when she dished out all the missing information about her sudden (but not totally surprising) Hollywood marriage and divorce.

It's well-known that Katy Perry and ex-hubby Russell Brand were swept in a whirlwind romance leading to an equally fast marriage decision. However, it seems that after the initial romance was put out, things got pretty sour quickly.

Katy Perry told the magazine that only after 14 months of marriage with Brand, he texted her saying that he was filing a divorce. Just like that, the Teenage Dream star hasn't heard from him ever since. The reason given in the court documents? Irreconcilable Differences.

According to Katy:

"He's a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him," she told the magazine, adding: "Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011."

HELL HATH NO FURY THAN A WOMAN SCORNED. Keep that in mind next time Russell.
