Like Fine China ...
Hearts are like fine china. Once broken, it can be repaired but will always have a hairline crack. It may go undetected at first glance but it is there and definitely weekens it.
After our heart heals, we go on trusting it just as we do the repaired piece of fine china, knowing all the while it will break easier the next time.
The one and only difference between a broken heart and a broken piece of fine china is that we can always throw out the broken china. Not so with our broken hearts. We shall carry those heartbreaks with us till our dying day.
I say thank you to the broken heart. It reminds me everyday that I am human and that I have been loved and have loved.
