Amanda Bynes trying in vain to control the rumor mill, she took to Twitter to inform her audience that the only source of the truth comes from herself.

On Thursday, the "All That" star posted, "I don't speak to my parents anymore, they don't talk to reporters on my behalf. Don't believe anything you read about me unless I tweet it."

Locking out other sources, the troubled young celeb later added, "My friends don't speak on my behalf either. Please don't read anything about me needing help. That offends me. Follow me on twitter!"

The admonitions come after Amanda recently tweeted that she was threatening to sue media publications for "lies" and calling out a sylist for allegedly damaging her hair, causing her to shave her head.
