For most of the attendees the 2014 Met Gala was all about fashion, but for Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, it was all about the love.

During the swanky shindig last night (May 5) the “Tom Ford” rapper dropped to one knee and asked his “Crazy in Love” wife to marry him.

Prior to the memorable moment, Bey had lost one of her rings while working the red carpet in her gorgeous Givenchy gown.

Impressed by her hubby’s creativity, Knowles smiled and said yes before they strolled inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art hand-in-hand.
