Nabbing some major starpower to fuel box office success, the World War II film "Fury" has cast Brad Pitt in a leading role.

Written and directed by David Ayer, the movie follows a five-man American tank crew in Europe in the final days of the war.

With John Lesher on board to produce, "Fury" will begin production sometime this fall. Stay tuned to GossipCenter as more details emerge.

Meanwhile, fans can see Brad Pitt in a very different war movie. On June 21st, "World War Z" will pit Brad against hordes of zombies that threaten humanity itself.
