Rent is ₦35k, due tomorrow.

His phone buzzed.
"Sis: Bro, school fees don enter. Please."

He walked past guys selling light for ₦200 per hour and laughed.
Even light dey cost now.

That night, no power. No sleep. Just sweat and the ceiling staring back.
He whispered to himself: "I no go end like this."

11 PM. Knock on the door.
It was the landlord.
