Earlier in the day on Jan. 12 a young man arrived at his girlfriend's place of employment. He approached his girlfriend who was sitting in her car in the parking lot for lunch. Violence broke out and her coworkers tried to stop the fight between the two but the suspect raised his hand with a gun. The workers called 911 and suspect ran across street to movie theatre where police found him. He raised his hands with the gun in the theatre and police felt at risk so they shot the suspect. He is expected to survive.
