Every American citizen deserves the right to run for president, without exception.
​The current restriction for naturalized citizens is a barrier to full participation and representation. I firmly believe it is time to amend the Constitution to grant this essential right to all citizens. Many talented, dedicated Americans who happen to be naturalized citizens are ready to lead and serve, and they deserve the chance to hold any government position, including the highest office.
​We should follow the example of other nations, such as France, which allow all citizens to run for president regardless of where they were born. Let's update our laws to reflect the true value and equality of every single American citizen. All American citizens must have the right to run for president.
