Fried Ravioli

Description

You don't need to love Italian food to love these fried ravioli. They are full of flavor, delicious and crispy. Dip them in your favorite marinara sauce, if desired. Although these ravioli are an appetizer, they can also be the main dish.

Ingredients

  • 25 oz. bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. milk, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated, plus extra for serving
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1 jar favorite marinara sauce, for dipping

Steps

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Set out 3 wide, deep plates or bowls. Pour flour on the first plate; whisk eggs and milk in the second plate; on the third plate, combine bread crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Coat ravioli with the flour, then egg/milk mixture, and lastly, the bread crumb mixture.
