It seems that gracing a prestigious magazine's cover comes with a price. Melissa McCarthy’s November ELLE cover seems quite right and actually boosts the confidence of plus-sized women. However, keen observers actually noticed something amiss with this photo.

Every November, ELLE puts out its “Women in Hollywood” issue, featuring the buzziest female celebrities.

The funny lady was featured rocking bombshell bedroom hair but wearing a wool and cashmere blue Marina Rinaldi coat that only reveals very little skin - a contradictory to the other issues of Elle wherein models were seen wearing different provocative clothes.

This resulted to some complaints from critics expressing their annoyance with the cover. One comment read: "Melissa's cover shot is just lazy, it shows that stylists don't want to work with a plus size body or designers.”

@Roundraglanroad tweeted, “Oh look, it's Melissa Mccarthy on the cover of @ELLEmagazine , let's cover her up in the LARGEST COAT POSSIBLE
