She came from humble beginnings to become one of the hottest singing stars on the planet and last night (June 4) Jennifer Lopez returned to the Bronx borough of New York City to perform a free concert.
The “Jenny From the Block” babe took the stage at the State Farm Neighborhood Sessions at Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park for a 90-minute hit-laden set.
During a break between songs, J. Lo asked her hometown crowd, "Don't you just love Bronx summers? It's a dream come true."
Lopez’s lineup included a bevy of backup dancers and plenty of colorful costumes as she sang popular ditties like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “If You Had My Love,” “Waiting for Tonight,” and “First Love.”
