Description

This is a twist on the classic Caprese salad that is made with tomatoes. This one is made with strawberries instead of the tomatoes. It's quick and simple to make and is perfect for entertaining guests or serving to your family.

Ingredients

• Vinaigrette:
• 3 T. balsamic vinegar
• 1 T. extra virgin olive oil
• 1 t. honey
• salt and pepper, to taste
• 3 c. strawberries, sliced
• 1 c. mozzarella ciliegine, sliced into halves*
• 1/3 c. fresh basil, chopped

Steps

1. Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients.
2. Combine strawberries, mozzarella, and basil in a large bowl. Drizzle on the vinaigrette dressing; toss gently to coat.
3. Serve.
