Do you love cherry limeade but don't want to go to the fast food place to buy it? It's easy and economical to make at home with lemon-lime soda, freshly squeezed lime juice, sugar and maraschino cherries. You'll be glad that you did.

Ingredients

• crushed ice
• 1-2 medium limes, thinly sliced
• 10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained, syrup reserved
• 1 c. lime juice from 8-10 limes, chilled
• 1/2 c. superfine granulated sugar
• 1 bottle (2-liters) lemon-lime soda, chilled
