Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz. vodka, smooth, mid-shelf brand
• 1/2 oz. blue curaçao
• 1/2 oz. cranberry juice (100% juice for tartness or cranberry cocktail for sweetness)
• ice
• optional garnishes: sugar rim, lemon or orange twist, tropical candy skewer, edible flowers

Steps

1. Run a lime or lemon wedge around the rim of a martini or coupe glass; dip the rim into sugar on a small plate.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, blue curaçao, cranberry juice and ice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
