1 1/2 oz. vodka, smooth, mid-shelf brand
1/2 oz. blue curaçao
1/2 oz. cranberry juice (100% juice for tartness or cranberry cocktail for sweetness)

optional garnishes: sugar rim, lemon or orange twist, tropical candy skewer, edible flowers

Run a lime or lemon wedge around the rim of a martini or coupe glass; dip the rim into sugar on a small plate.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, blue curaçao, cranberry juice and ice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled.
