Description
You'll get two thumbs up from everyone who tastes this delicious oatmeal. It is a little chewy, much like warm granola but it tastes similar to warm banana bread. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of Biscoff.
Ingredients
- Oatmeal Ingredients:
- 3 cu. old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp.kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cu. Biscoff Spread, melted
- 2 medium mashed bananas, about 2/3 cu.
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cu. milk
- Topping Ingredients:
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cu. heavy cream
- 2 tbl. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp.n vanilla
- 2 tbl. Biscoff Spread, melted
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the Biscoff in a glass bowl in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Stir together all the oatmeal ingredients and pour into a well-greased 9-10" square pan. Bake for 35 minutes, until a knife inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- While the oatmeal is cooling, combine the cream,the powdered sugar and the vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat until the cream forms stiff peaks. Warm the Biscoff in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Slice the oatmeal into squares and serve topped with banana slices, a small scoop of whipped cream and a drizzle of Biscoff.
