Wow! This is a quick and easy meal to make on those nights when you just don't have much time to prepare dinner, but want something satisfying! The kids, big and small, will love it!
½ cup diced onion
¼ cup diced dill pickle or dill pickle relish
1 lb. lean ground beef
3 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
frozen French fries, style of fries and amount up to you
¼ tsp. garlic powder
1 can cream mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, brown lean ground beef and drain fat.
Place the browned meat in the bottom of a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, mustard, and soup. Stir in chopped pickles into mixture. Pour mixture over ground beef and spread evenly, then top with cheese.
Top the casserole with frozen french fries.
Bake in oven for 35 - 45 minutes or until the fries are golden and crisp.
