Description

Fresh strawberries and basil muddled together with lemonade that is spiked with citrus vodka makes any day a special day!

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 c. strawberries, sliced
• 8 basil leaves
• 1/3 c. sugar
• Spiked Fresh Lemonade
• extra basil leaves and strawberry slices for garnish
• Spiked Fresh Lemonade:
• 3 c. water (divided)
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 T. lemon peel, grated
• 2 c. lemon juice, fresh
• 1 1/2 c. citrus vodka

Steps

1. In a blender, purée berries until smooth, set aside.
2. In a tall 10 oz. glass, combine 1 basil leaf and 2 t. sugar; muddle by pressing with muddler or handle of wooden spoon with twisting action. Stir in 2 T. strawberry purée. Fill glass with ice cubes; add
