Your family can get their vegetables with this old family favorite!
2 lb. ground beef
3 large onions, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
5 ribs celery, chopped
3/4 tsp. Oregano
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 small bay leaves
1/2 tsp. Cominos
garlic salt to taste
4 cups tomatoes
2 tbl. Chili Powder
1 cup canned mushrooms, drained
2 tsp. dried basil
Later: 1/3 cup parsley; spaghetti noodles.
Fry ground beef, drain. Mix in all above ingredients and cook until thick, about 1 hour, medium to low heat. Then add parsley. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
