Your family can get their vegetables with this old family favorite!
Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 5 ribs celery, chopped
- 3/4 tsp. Oregano
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 small bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. Cominos
- garlic salt to taste
- 4 cups tomatoes
- 2 tbl. Chili Powder
- 1 cup canned mushrooms, drained
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- Later: 1/3 cup parsley; spaghetti noodles.
Steps
- Fry ground beef, drain. Mix in all above ingredients and cook until thick, about 1 hour, medium to low heat. Then add parsley. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
