Description
Make this fantastic pasta with cheese, garlic, heavy cream and butter for a satisfying side dish. Serve it with chicken, beef or fish.
Ingredients
- 2 t. olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 T. unsalted butter
- ¼ t. salt
- ½ t. pepper
- 3 c. chicken stock or vegetable broth
- ½ lb. angel hair pasta
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ c. heavy cream
- 1 T. dried or fresh parsley
Steps
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Add garlic and stir, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add butter; cook until melted. Add salt, pepper and chicken stock. Cook on high and let it come to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook for 4-5 minutes. When pasta is tender, reduce heat to medium and stir in Parmesan, cream and parsley until cheese is completely melted. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
