These little delicious appetizers will fly off of your table in no time at all! Cream cheese and jalapeno pepper on the inside of the chicken, then wrapped in bacon make these treats a stand out appetizer!
8 chicken tenders, flattened in a zip-lock bag and cut into halves
3 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped, or to taste (wear plastic gloves while handling and keep your hands away from your eyes and face)
8 slices raw bacon, cut in halves (turkey bacon would be good too)
Dab ½ teaspoon cream cheese on the top of each chicken tender. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of the chopped peppers over the cream cheese.
Fold or roll chicken to enclose cream cheese mixture. Wrap each roll with one piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Grill or bake until bacon is brown and crispy on both sides.
