Description
This is a wonderfully moist, delicious cake. It is beautiful too and would be a great St. Patrick's Day or Easter dessert.
Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 box vanilla, white or yellow cake mix
- 3.4 oz. box instant pistachio pudding
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. milk
- green food coloring, if desired
- Frosting:
- 3.4 oz. box instant pistachio pudding
- 1/2 c. milk
- 8oz. tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
- green food coloring, if desired
- chopped pistachios, for garnish, if desired
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine cake mix with instant pistachio pudding. Stir those together until combined.
- Add in eggs, oil and milk. Stir just until combined. Stir in about 6 - 8 drops of green food coloring until fully incorporated.
