This is one of the best cheese balls ever. If you and your guests like sweet and savory, you and they will love this one.
16 oz. softened cream cheese
8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
2 c. finely chopped pecans, divided into two 1 c. portions
1⁄4 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
2 T. finely chopped green onions
2 t. seasoning salt
your favorite crackers
Mix all ingredients, using only 1 cup pecans; form into a ball.
Reserve second cup of pecans for topping.
Refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, roll cheese ball in reserved cup of pecans. Serve with crackers.
