Everyone loves hashbrown casserole. Tailor it to your own taste using different cheeses or cream of soup. Add cubed ham to make it a complete meal, if desired.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. bag frozen southern style hash brown potatoes
- 1⁄2 c. onion, finely chopped
- seasoning salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1⁄2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 1⁄2 to 2 c. Colby cheese or Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 10 1/2 oz. can cream of chicken soup or your favorite cream of soup
- non-stick cooking spray
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
- Combine soup, cheese, butter, onion, seasoning salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Stir. Gently fold the potatoes into the mixture. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, until heated through and top is browned.
