Enjoy this wonderful Italian dessert without all of the hassle of making cannolis. Just make this dip and enjoy it with your choice of dippers!
2 c. Ricotta cheese
8 oz. marscapone
1 1/2 c. confectioners'/powdered sugar plus a little for garnish
1 t. vanilla
1 c. mini chocolate chips, saving some for garnish
a little amaretto, to taste, optional
fresh fruit, graham crackers or waffle cones for dipping
Wrap the ricotta in cheese cloth; drain it for 24 hours or overnight.
Mix ingredients together, saving some chocolate chips and powdered sugar for garnish.
Serve with fresh fruit or graham crackers.
