Make this amazing appetizer the next time that you have a special gathering. It is easy and so good!
1 lb. jumbo lump crabmeat, shell free
1 c. grated Pepper Jack cheese
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. green onions or 1 large shallot, thinly sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
6 roasted garlic cloves or 3 cloves garlic, minced
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1 t. hot pepper sauce, optional
1/2 t. dry mustard
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Combine all ingredients except for the bread crumbs in a baking dish. Gently stir until mixed. Top with the bread crumbs.
Bake 40 minutes.
Serve hot with crackers, pretzels, or toast points.
