You don't even need to fry chicken to enjoy this wonderful gravy. In no time at all you can treat yourself to chicken gravy for potatoes, rice, egg noodles or even gravy bread!
3 T. butter
4 T. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
dash poultry seasoning, optional
Melt butter, add flour and blend thoroughly. Slowly add in the broth, salt and pepper and poultry seasoning, if using; blend until mixture thickens.
Serve.
