Once you make this cake the first time, it will wind up being your go to cake for all occasions. It’s a sweet and super moist cake that is made a marble cake mix, walnuts or pecans and coconut.

Ingredients

• 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
• 1 c. flaked coconut
• 18 1/2 oz. box fudge marble cake mix
• 3 eggs (or as directed on cake mix)
• 1⁄3 c. oil (or as directed on cake mix)
• 1 1⁄3 c. water (or as directed on cake mix)
• 1⁄2 c. butter or margarine, melted
• 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
• 3 1⁄2 c. powdered sugar
• whipped topping for garnish

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter the bottom of a 9 x1 3 inch pan; sprinkle pecans and coconut in pan.
2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; pour over pecans and coconut.
3. Combine butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar; mix well.
