Are you having guests over? Need an appetizer? This dip is sure to please a crowd with its warm goodness of lightly toasted bread filled with cream cheese, sour cream, Cheddar cheese and bacon.

Ingredients

• 1 lb. round loaf sourdough bread or your choice
• 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
• 12 oz. sour cream
• 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
• 3/4 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1/2 c. chopped green onions
• crackers, for dipping

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Cut the top fourth off of the loaf of bread. Hollow out the bread, leaving a 1 inch outer shell. Slice the removed bread into cubes; set aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy; add sour cream, Cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce until blended; stir in bacon and onions.
