Description
Enjoy the apple season with this seasonal sangria. Garnish with apples and a cinnamon stick, if desired.
Ingredients
- 1 Granny Smith apple, washed, cored and sliced into matchsticks
- 1 small red apple, washed, cored and sliced into matchsticks
- 3/4 c. Jim Beam Apple Bourbon
- 3 c. apple cider
- 1 bottle chilled, dry sparkling wine, like Prosecco or Cava
Steps
- In a pitcher, combine the sliced apples, reserving 1 cup for garnish, apple bourbon and apple cider. Stir to combine; add chilled sparkling wine; fill with ice.
- Fill glasses with ice; pour sangria. Scoop some apple slices into each glass. Top each glass with several reserved apple matchsticks.
- 6 servings.
