Description

You don't have to wait for strawberry season to make this delicious strawberry shortcake lasagna. Strawberries are available year round, so go ahead and treat yourself to this scrumptious dessert.

Ingredients

• 1 box vanilla instant pudding
• 1/2 c. strawberry juice
• 1 1/2 c. non-fat milk
• 1 t. vanilla extract
• 24 Lady fingers (or use angel food cake)
• 1 c. whipping cream
• 1 lb. fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, patted dry and sliced

Steps

1. In a bowl, whisk pudding, milk and vanilla; set aside.
2. With a hand mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer, whip the cream until it just makes stiff peaks.
3. Dip lady fingers quickly in strawberry juice; arrange them in the bottom of a dish.
