Description
This delicious shortbread bar is a cross between Pecan Sandies and shortbread cookies. They are easy to make and even more wonderful to eat.
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans, divided
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar; beat until light and fluffy; beat in egg.
- Add flour, cinnamon, salt and vanilla; mix well. Stir in 1/2 c. pecans.
