Description
Serve this wonderful veggie with yummy prosciutto and cheese as a side dish or even as an appetizer. You can use Swiss cheese slices or any grated or shredded cheese that you prefer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh thin asparagus (about 35 spears)
- 6 prosciutto slices
- 3 Swiss cheese slices - each cut into half (or favorite cheese)
- extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Rinse asparagus; cut off ends, about 3 inches from the bottom; discard ends.
- On a non-stick baking sheet, layer a slice of prosciutto , then place a piece of cheese in the center.
