Ingredients

• 1 c. flaked coconut
• 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
• 1 box German Chocolate cake mix ( Devils Food or Chocolate Fudge cake mix)
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/3 c. water
• 1/2 c. oil
• 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 1 stick butter, softened
• 1 t.. vanilla
• 2 c. powdered sugar
• 1 pkg. chocolate chips
• cooking spray
• Cool Whip, for serving

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray.
2. Place the coconut and the chopped walnuts in the bottom of the prepared pan.
3. Mix cake mix according to package directions. Spread cake batter over the walnuts and coconut.
