Description
You will want to eat this whole batch of toffee treats, but be nice and share! They are salty and sweet, crispy, and buttery crackers topped with pecans and chocolate. They make a great holiday treat to make that won't take much of your precious time. Yum
Ingredients
- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 c. unsalted butter
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 12 oz. milk chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line a 15 x10 x 1 inch baking sheet with the saltine crackers; set aside. Place a large sheet of parchment paper on the countertop.
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter; add sugar; bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. When it begins to boil, remove from heat; pour over saltine crackers; sprinkle with chopped pecans.
