Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- Bechamel Sauce:
- 2 T. unsalted butter
- 2 T. all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 c. warm milk
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ground nutmeg, optional
- Filling:
- 2 c. fresh spinach, rinsed and chopped
- 1/2 lb. cooked ham, diced
- 1 c. Swiss cheese, grated plus more for top
- Egg Wash:
- 1 egg
- 1 spoon of cold water
Steps
- Cut the puff pastry sheets into 5-inch squares; set aside in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
