Description

This is not your typical salad. It's more of a dessert and is reminiscent of a caramel apple, but it's not on a stick. It's easy and quick to make and will soon become a family favorite.

Ingredients

• 4 large green apples, like Granny Smith
• 4-5 Snickers candy bars
• 8 oz. Cool Whip
• 1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix (do not prepare)
• ½ c. milk
• caramel topping
• nuts for garnish, if desired

Steps

1. Cut candy into cubes. Wash, core and cut apples into cubes.
2. Mix together milk and pudding; fold in the Cool Whip. Mix in apples and candy. Top with caramel and nuts or extra candy, if desired. Serve cold.
3. *This salad can also be layered, put in a glass bowl or trifle dish and served cold.
