Who said that they didn't like asparagus? Then they haven't tried this yummy veggie dish. It's prepared with heavy cream, 2 different cheeses and a little salt and pepper. That's it! So easy and quick to make and so delicious to eat!
Ingredients
- 2 lb. asparagus, washed, woody ends removed
- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place asparagus in a shallow baking dish. Pour heavy cream over asparagus; scatter with garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper; sprinkle with Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake until cheeses are golden and asparagus is tender, 25 - 30 minutes. Broil the last 2 minutes of cooking time, if desired.
