Description
Start with a mixture of fresh mushrooms, add a few simple, basic ingredients and you wind up with a wonderful meatless dish.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. mixed fresh mushrooms (button, shiitake, cremini, baby portobello)
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 t. chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 t. chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 t. balsamic vinegar
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Wipe off mushrooms with a clean, damp cloth; trim/discard stems. Slice mushrooms into pieces no larger than 2 inches in size.
- In a large baking dish, mix olive oil with garlic, herbs and seasonings. Add mushrooms; mix well, coating mushrooms with the flavored oil.
