Use your favorite ice cream to make this super simple dessert. It's made on a peanut butter and crispy cereal crust that is perfect for this dessert.
2 c. crisped rice cereal, like Rice Krispies
⅓ c. chunky peanut butter
⅓ c. white Karo syrup
1½ quarts softened ice cream, your favorite
fresh fruit or chocolate chunks for serving, if desired
Butter the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, stir the peanut butter and Karo syrup together until well combined; add the cereal; mix with buttered hands, folding cereal into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
Gently press the mixture into the prepared pie pan and up the sides. Fill the crust with the softened ice cream.
Freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
Remove from the freezer. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
Serve, topped with your favorite fresh fruit or chocolate chunks, if desired.
