Description
Instead of making individual cookies, make these irresistible cookie bars. They are easier to make than cookies, but you still get the same ooey, gooey taste.
Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1¼ c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. old-fashioned oats
- 2 c. flaked coconut
- ½ t. salt
- ¾ c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Filling:
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ c. Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 8 oz. Heath toffee bits
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
- Crust:
- Combine flour, oats, coconut and brown sugar in a large bowl of an electric mixer; mix on low speed. Add butter; continue mixing until a crumbly dough forms; add egg; mix well; stir in chocolate chips.
