Festive Ugly Christmas Sweater Cake
Description
Delight your family and guests with this fun and festive cake. It's really simple to make. All you need is a yellow cake mix, holiday colored frosting, a tube of white icing and holiday candy decorations.

1 box yellow cake mix (with ingredients listed on box to prepare)
1 can holiday red frosting (Pillsbury has one, or if you prefer a green ugly sweater, use green frosting)
1 tube white icing

Line a 13 x 9 baking dish with parchment paper. Prepare cake according to package directions for a 9 x 13 inch cake; remove from oven; bake about 30-35 minutes; cool completely.
Once cake has cooled, remove from baking dish. Using a flat spatula, slide cake out of parchment paper and onto a serving plate or cutting board. Spread the frosting smoothly onto the cake top and sides.
Pipe on icing to resemble a sweater around the neck and button areas as well as the wires on the lights. Use circle candy sprinkles as buttons and add some fun decorations. The decorations should be edible candies.
