Description

These wonderful cookies are great to serve or gift for the holidays. They start with a dark chocolate fudge cake mix and are stuffed with bits of York Peppermint Patties.

Ingredients

• 16.5 oz. package Duncan Hines dark chocolate fudge cake mix
• 1 large egg
• 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 c. butter softened (almost melted)
• 16 snack size York Peppermint Patties
• sprinkles, optional

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
2. In a small bowl, mix the cake mix, egg, cream cheese and butter until well combined. It will be very thick.
3. Make 16 balls out of the chocolate batter.
