Description
These little appetizers are quick and easy to make because they use crescent roll dough, canned mushrooms, a little cream cheese and chopped onion. They will be a huge hit at your next party.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese, cubed
- 4 oz. can mushroom stems and stems, drained
- 1 T. chopped onion
- 1/8 t. hot pepper sauce
- 8 oz. tube crescent roll dough
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a blender or food processor, combine cream cheese, mushrooms, onion and hot pepper sauce; cover; process until blended. Unroll crescent dough; separate into 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. Spread mushroom mixture over dough.
- Roll up jelly roll style, starting with the long side. Cut each roll into 5 pieces; place on an ungreased cookie/baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
