These impressive appetizers will make your guests happy. They could also be served as a snack or a light meal.

Ingredients

• 8 oz. tube refrigerated crescent rolls
• 1/3 c. prepared pesto sauce
• 1/4 c. roasted sweet red peppers, drained and chopped
• 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 c. warmed pizza sauce, for dipping

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Unroll crescent dough into 2 long rectangles; use fingers to seal seams and perforations. Spread each with pesto; sprinkle with red peppers and grated cheese.
3. Roll each up jelly-roll style, starting on a short side. With a very sharp knife, cut each roll into 10 slices.
