You can enjoy General Tso's flavor without the chicken. This is perfect for vegetarians who want to enjoy the flavor without the meat.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, split lengthwise
- sesame oil
- 1/4 t. sea salt
- Glaze:
- 1 c. freshly squeezed orange juice (from about 1-2 oranges)
- 2 T. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 t. red chili flakes, or to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 T. arrowroot starch
- 1/3 c. filtered water
Steps
- Heat a non-stick skillet to high heat; drizzle with sesame oil; add Brussels sprouts and sea salt; cook 3 - 5 minutes or until sprouts are golden and crispy.
- Glaze:
- To a small bowl, add orange juice, vinegar, red chili flakes, garlic and arrowroot starch; mix.
