Description
This healthy buttery, rich spread is so versatile and can be used as a salad dressing or a spread on burgers, hot dogs, in tacos, or as a dip for chips.
Ingredients
- 1 medium-size ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 2 T. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 T. heavy cream
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steps
- In a blender or food processor, process the avocado until smooth; add lime juice and heavy cream; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Pulse once or twice to blend.
- Makes 3/4 cup.
