Ingredients

• 2 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese
• 1 oz. packet dry buttermilk Ranch dressing mix
• ½ c. Cheddar cheese, freshly grated
• ¼ c. green onion, thinly sliced
• 6 bacon slices, fried and crumbled (or ½ c. bottled real bacon bits)*
• ¼ c. chopped black olives, optional
• 1 c. pecans or almonds, finely chopped, for coating
• assortment of crackers, for serving

Steps

1. Mix together cream cheese and Ranch dressing packet until smooth. Add cheese, onions, crumbled bacon and olives, if using.
2. Shape mixture into 1 large ball or 2 small balls; roll in the nuts to coat the outside.
3. Store in the refrigerator.
