Easy Fresh Mint Tea

Description

This herbal tea is so easy to make and tastes great. It's a healthy, caffeine free beverage that's great served hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 15 fresh mint leaves (peppermint or spearmint)
  • 2 t. sugar or honey, starting with about 1 t. per cup, or as desired
  • ice, if desired
  • lemon slices and/or lemon juice, if desired

Steps

  1. Bring water to a rolling boil; remove from heat; add mint leaves. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes, depending on desired strength. Add sweetener, if desired.
