Description

This herbal tea is so easy to make and tastes great. It's a healthy, caffeine free beverage that's great served hot or cold.

Ingredients

2 c. water
15 fresh mint leaves (peppermint or spearmint)
2 t. sugar or honey, starting with about 1 t. per cup, or as desired
ice, if desired
lemon slices and/or lemon juice, if desired

Bring water to a rolling boil; remove from heat; add mint leaves. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes, depending on desired strength. Add sweetener, if desired.

To serve:
If serving iced, fill tall glasses with ice; pour tea over ice.

If serving hot, pour tea into mugs; garnish with lemon slices and/or lemon juice, if desired, to taste.
