Description

This easy to make dessert is made with only 4 ingredients. It takes about 18 minutes to prepare but the difficult part is waiting for it to cool. It's a decadent, smooth chocolate pie with a perfect shortbread crust.

Ingredients

• 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
• 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
• 1 T. vanilla extract
• 9 inch prepared shortbread pie crust
• whipped cream for top of pie and crushed shortbread cookies for sprinkling, optional
• Crust:
• 2c. finely crushed shortbread cookies (Walkers, if possible)
• 1/4 c. melted butter

Steps

2. Mix together crust ingredients well and press into the 9 inch pie dish and chill.
3. In a microwavable dish, combine chocolate chips and 3/4 c. heavy cream; microwave on High for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Let cool to room temperature. Stir in sugar and vanilla; set aside.
