Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 - 1 c. granulated sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped coarsely (with the seeds if wanting it spicy)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 c. cilantro
  • 4 green onions, ends removed
  • 2 T. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 2- 8 oz. blocks cream cheese
  • Wheat Thins, Ritz or other crackers, for serving

Steps

  1. Place the first seven ingredients in a food processor (not the cream cheese or crackers); pulse until desired consistency.
  2. Chill in refrigerator for a several hours or preferably overnight.
  3. Serve salsa over cream cheese and with crackers.
